When I took over as owner of Beechgrove Interiors, it was clear that in the past the business had solely been 'high end', uncompromising in the fact that all dealings were in the finest, most expensive fabrics, wallcoverings and trimmings. In its prime, Beechgrove Interiors operated from a large showroom filled with furniture and catering to a very certain clientele.
But times changed...its necessary to evolve, such a niche market can choke a business. As the new owner of Beechgrove, I am so delighted to have the opportunity to deal with that existing client base, being in a position to advise without limits...but there is so much more... It seems that (as has always been the case regardless of ownership) we don't have one particular style. The difference now, however, is that we can cater to a broader spectrum of budgets and have introduced designer names such as Clarke&Clarke, Romo and Harlequin. We have the design ability to accommodate a variety of tastes but choosing to never compromise on quality. When it comes to window treatments, we don't just offer a neutral scheme or a blingy solution or curtains that are made to a formula...leading edges...one third stripey, two thirds floral... that's just not what we do. We design. We transform fabrics. Building relationships, asking for trust. We transform spaces. Our vast sample library contains fabrics ranging from £15 per metre to over £300 per metre. Tiebacks at £12 and others that are POA (yes..really!). We look to the library to find the perfect scheme for you, creating beautiful homes and interiors to suit. Not always leaning towards the most expensive option but instead always choosing what is right for you and your home. I am proud to say every job is unique and bespoke, filled with your personality and our passion... L xx (here's a teeny peep at the past weeks variety!) Since becoming the new owner of Beechgrove Interiors in 2013, I have made many decisions to steer my business to where I want it to be. For over a year we seemed to stand still at our magnificent showroom in the country but with a new owner, we needed big changes! Loyal Beechgrove customers continued to come through the doors and no one was put off by the change in management but we found that everyone was phoning ahead and little interest was given to the showroom... clients made a beeline for the second floor studio area for their consultation. I so wanted this to change so in November 2014 (possibly suffering from a touch of baby brain as I was 8 months pregnant at the time) I made one of the biggest decisions since buying the business and decided to uproot everything and move... We now operate from the most perfect premises on Mill Street in Ballymena, our ground floor is a treasure trove of loveliness! Furniture, candles, lamps, cushions, curtains, rugs, tiebacks, mirrors...new stock arrives daily and the shop is ever changing!
